Airport and Airline Products

Aerospace Engineering and Research Associates offers a powerful suite of easy to use and cost effective products designed specifically for airline and airport operations. It provides real time information about the performance of either your airline or airport, and how that compares to others in your market. Drill deeper to find out exactly which component of your operation is performing better or worse than your competition.

AirOpsView

AirOpsView is a robust and cost effective statistics and metrics program specifically for regional airports and airline operators. Data can be used for a wide variety of purposes, including:

  • Providing feedback to airlines on route performance
  • Benchmarking performance vs. competitors
  • Common Use gate / resource allocation
  • Helping make strategic decisions about airlines to pursue for new service
  • Helping answer airport customer questions and complaints
  • Budget support
  • Cross checking airline operations and landing fees

AirOpsView incorporates the most accurate data available from multiple sources with automated quality checks.

Hawkeye AOV Pro

AERA FDP

AERA FDP is a state of the art Flight Data Management System based on 4d trajectories. FDP is designed to work in your environment, and runs on widely available PC platforms. AERA Flight Data Processing engine provides support across several organization areas.

  • Flight Arrival and Departure Displays
  • Flight Strip Printing and Display
  • ICAO Reporting Support
  • Airport Billing Support

AERA NOTAM Bene

Provides Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) message processing and visualization tools for flight planning and flight plan briefing. NOTAM_Bene processes and quality checks NOTAM messages, and checks those that will be active and interact with a particular flight plan.

Business Based Flow Management

BBFM provides real time, "day of" operational fleet management to reduce unnecessary block and gate time. BBFM has years of real world operational use in the world’s busiest airports. The system has sent more than six million operational messages to aircraft, with an error rate less than 0.00385%. BBFM has posted significant benefits in on time performance, better passenger experience, noise reduction, air pollution reduction, reduced fuel and operating costs, and better gate utilization. Benefits independently validated by FAA (NextGen Task J), Embry-Riddle University (Dr. Vitaly Guzhva and Dr. Ahmed Abdelghany), Georgia Tech (Dr. John- Paul Clark), GE Aviation, Veracity Engineering and MCRI.

BBFM Exchange

BBFM Exchange is the ANSP version of BBFM that acts as an "Honest Broker" working to meet the needs of multiple users operating into a single airport. The system accommodates those airlines with BBFM systems, and those without. BBFM Exchange optimizes the flow based on the electronically transmitted airline Requested Time of Arrival (RTA). This RTA is based on the business priorities of the airline.

The goal of BBFM Exchange is to provide an equitable allocation of the airport asset. BBFM Exchange is a separate version of the BBFM software that uses the RTA as the unit of currency between the airline and the ANSP. Using the RTA as the unit of currency provides the ATC system the airline's needs for that individual aircraft without providing the underlying business reasons for that Requested RTA, thus keeping the airline's business practices confidential.

Global ETA

BBFM calculates the world’s most accurate, real time landing and gate Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) for every flight for your entire fleet, anywhere in the world. This includes a real time notification of near airport messages.

Near Messages

BBFM Near messages provide real time surveillance based alert messages to ground personnel when an aircraft is near the airport. The Airline Operations Center may set the Near Message to either a distance or time prior to landing. These messages are provided for all aircraft in the fleet, 24/7, anywhere in the world.

GateSync

GateSync takes real time input from the airline gate management process and from airline "OOOI" messages to predict future gate availability. BBFM uses this data, along with our patented optimization engine to adjust flight arrival times so that the optimum arrival time takes into account predicted available gates.

GateSync also provides real time target times to ground personnel advising the optimum times and order for processing gates.

Holdout Monitor

The BBFM Holdout Monitor delivers a real time message to airline dispatchers when an aircraft has been holding out on the tarmac for more than your policy allows. This message is sent for any aircraft operating at any of your stations.
